Becky just tagged me! Oh, I oughta...haha, just kidding.
Okay, here are the rules:
1. Pick up the nearest book (of at least 123 pages).
2. Open the book to page 123.
3. Find the fifth sentence.
4. Post the next three sentences.
5. Tag five people.
Well. It would not be lying to say that Truffles by the Sea was the closest book--a bit self-serving--but not lying ;) So we'll skip on by to the next book, which happens to be: Valley of Betrayal, by Tricia Goyer. Here's the except:
To give in and run away would be the same as letting the enemy win.
As she strode along behind Benita, Sophie wondered if the matadors felt the same empowerment when they faced death in the arena. Did their face-off with their own weak humanity make them understand the joy of truly living?
That, my friends, is powerful stuff! Okay, my turn. I tag: Vader's Mom, Chaos-Jamie, Holy Mama, Anne Dayton and May Vanderbilt (who share a blog and will now get two posts out of this).

GAH! okay! i can do this!
Ooh! Tagalicious! I love tags. We're on the case.
(Don't worry. I'm ignoring the Chicago Manual of Style I'm sitting next to. No one wants to hear anything from that desert-dry tome.)
I can handle this one!! Of course, it's your book right next to me, so you already know exactly what it says.
Done!

See, this one was painless, wasn't it. I like it!
But now I want to see what's on p. 123 of Truffles. ;-)
Becky
I tagged myself on this one. Thanks for doing it so I could find out about it, too much fun to pass up.
If only I had a copy of Truffles because I want to know what is on page 123 now too!
