Unlike last week, the sun's been out and making me long for summer. Just think! No taxi driving in the wee hours, or late night homework sessions. Ahhhh...just sand in my toes and shallow waves lapping onto shore. Oh yeah, and writing. Lots of that :) Took this pic when visiting a friend of a friend's beach house last month (did I mention I spotted Kevin Costner surfing that day??). Anyway, this is the view from their master bedroom. Can you imagine waking up to that endless blue ocean each day? So dreamy ...

I couldn't wait for it to warm up, and now I'm complaining about the humidity.
Our house in Huntingto Beach has a 3rd deck where we can have coffee while looking at the blue Pacific...but that was 4 years ago. Now we wake up to a pond filled with geese, ducks, turtles, a crane, and a muscrat (there's a beaver out there somewhere!). Water soothes the soul, so bring it on! Sharron, I agree...water soothes the soul. I've met so many wonderful southerners in the past couple of years that I think I could live there. One of these days, I'm going to visit southern waters (if I can get over my fear of gators, Lol)
