Yeah, Julie, that "Cletus Take the Reel" is a funny parody, all right.
But did you check out Tim Hawkins' (same guy) masterpiece, "The Government Can...?" This one is truly hilarious, and it addresses a problem we ALL face, today.

I really did not see anythng funny about it, I don't find a lot funny that other people do, but I live in the south and my husband is a fisherman and that is who these guys looked like, some southern guys having a good day at the lake.

I hear you. I probably wouldn't laugh so hard if they were surfers, for instance, since we have so many of them around my neck of California.
