Sweet giveaway

Happy December!

I was trying to think of a snappy post, which is tough since my head's fully into a new story and how many words do I really have left? So anyway, I can't think of anything amazing today, so instead I'm going to give away a copy of Sweet Waters. Hey, who needs pithy anyway?

So here's the deal. Tell me about your favorite book (the title, what you like about it, who wrote it, or whatever you want to tell me) in the comments section. On Wednesday at noon pst, I'll throw all answers into the random number generator and come up with a winner. Sound good?

Looking forward to reading your comments on my breaks! And if you're looking for Christmas gifts, you can find my previous titles (Chocolate Beach & Truffles by the Sea) in Julie's Beach Shop or on Amazon.

Here's to a beachy holiday season ~ wherever you are :)

Hi, I'm new to ACFW. My favorite book varies with my mood and my reasons for reading. I love Willa Cather's DEATH COMES FOR THE ARCHBISHOP. It's one I keep on my short-read shelf. I love Kahlil Gibrans's THE PROPHET. And I love Isabel Allende's APHRODITE. It inspired my woman's memoir, ORDINARY APHRODITE. So you see, three favorite books and they couldn't be different!

Your blog/website is beautiful.

I'm new to your beautiful blog and enjoying it very much. I haven't had the pleasure of reading your books...YET, but I definately will. I love finding new-to-me Christian authors to read.
I have many favorite books, and I'd like to add Robin Jones Gunn's, "Gardenia's For Breakfast".
A beautiful mother-daughter story, and a trip they take to the grandmother's...it brought me to tears, both happy and sad. Its one that you want to hug when your done!
Please add my name to your giveaway for "Sweet Water", it looks like a great read. Thank you!

Blessings,
Sandee

my favorite book is "Just As I Am" by Virginia Smith. It really encouraged me to look at others like God looks at them, at their heart.

I think my all time favorite would be "Little Women" by Louisa May Alcott. I remember reading it when I was young and it really pulled me in. I wanted to be one of the Marches.

My most recent favorite read was Stretch Marks by Kimberly Stuart. It's light and unique, not preachy.

I'm you like, Anne, in that my book choices vary with mood ;) That said, I love seeing the various answers here. As soon as I've finished writing my next book, I'm going to allow myself some good reading time.

I read so many books and enjoy so many different Author's (Steel, Patterson, Bradford, Clark, Cornwell, Grisham, MaComber, etc.....) Today my Granddaughter and I read "If you give a Mouse a Cookie" by Laura Joffe Numeroff - it reminded me of how busy I have been the last few months - starting one thing that leads to another thing and another and another.......

I really don't have a favorite book as there are so many books out there that I have really loved and so many authors whose books I have really enjoyed. The one series that I have enjoyed the most and can relate to is the Yada Yada Prayer Group by Neta Jackson books the most.

Love the picture on your blog. I just love the ocean although we now live in the desert.

Blessings,
Jo
