What's in a name? Win a free book!

Years ago I read a book about a gal and a guy on the rodeo circuit. Half way through I recall flipping to the back cover to see if I could find any hints of where the story was going (I know, bad reader, bad). Anyhoo, imagine my surprise when I found that the back cover copy listed a different name for the heroine. My guess is the author changed it, but somehow that info didn't make it to the design folks.

So yesterday I learned that a similar thing happened with review galleys of Sweet Waters. The change has been caught, so the snafu won't show up on bookstore shelves, but those who venture to read a preview might notice that one of the characters (not the heroine) has a different name on the back cover.

So here are questions for the contest:
Which do you think is the name I really gave the hero, a firefighter, in Sweet Waters--Trent or Josh? And why did you pick that name?

The rules: Give me your pick, and the reason why. I'll put all the correct answers in a hat (or similar) and randomly choose one for your choice of either Chocolate Beach or Truffles by the Sea to keep for yourself or give away. Easy peasy!

Just so you know, some online sites still list the wrong name--so looking up the book might just lead you astray! (IOW, no cheating ;))

So what's your guess and why?Contest ends Thursday at noon pst.

I am going to say his name is Josh.. Trent and Tara sound too much alike plus I like the name Josh.

I can't wait for the book to come out!!

I will guess Josh as Trent seems to much like a name for a suited profession.(as in tie and suit)

No reasoning....just my thoughts to the name.

I am going with Trent only because in high school I dated a boy name Trent. Always liked that name. grin

I hope I win!!Of course Mrs. Sidney did say Tara and Trent sound too much alike. She has a point so can I guess both? grin!I think I am over thinking the entire thing. I look forward to reading no matter what the name is!

I'm guessing Trent because Josh seems like the obvious answer!

My guess is the name is Trent. I sort of like the sound of Trent and Tara, more than Josh and Tara. Also, I think its a more unique name than Josh.

Please enter me in the contest.

Thank you,

Becky C.

I think it is Josh, because Joshua in the Bible was "strong and courageous."

Please enter me in your contest. I'd love to win. Also, I have a contest on my blog. Please stop by and enter it, too.

There is a good point to the names beginning with the same letter but I know couples that have rhyming names and it didn't hurt their relationship. But in spite of that, I will go with Trent because Josh sounds like a softer name rather than one that would do firefighting. Well, I looked their meanings up and changed my mind. The meanings made the difference. Final answer: Josh

I'm going with Trent. My own reasoning is I have a friend named Trent and don't have any named Josh. I love the name!

Josh! That's my brother's name and I've always like it. But don't enter me in the contest -- I've already got both wonderful, delightful books by Julie Carobini :-)

I have to say it's Trent. The meaning of the name Trent has to do with water, ie. stream or swift. That sounds like a firefighter to me.

You're all making me rethink how I come up with names, LOL...thanks for playing. Keep on goin'.

I'm going to go with Trent. The first person who commented says that the female in the story is named Tara, so I like T & T, explosive! heh heh heh Kinda funny since he's a fire fighter.
